‘Heart Maps: Down the Line, an ambulatory audio adventure’ is the culmination of artist and researcher Amy Tsilemanis’s winter 2023 creative residency in the Otways, Gadubanud Country. Explore the rich layers of Apollo Bay’s past, present and future through maps and audio in this two-hour moving feast of creative oral history.

A glamping library with books about sea-weed and soothing ocean sounds, creating a contemplative space for you to kick back and relax and get educated. It is a calm call for action – to arm ourselves with knowledge; to continue making personal connections, and to form collectives – amongst authors, artists, marine biologists and the public, so that once enough people have removed their eco-blinders when it comes to marine algae we are mobilised for positive environmental change.

Every year for the past few years the lovely Alexandra has been creating a trail map of participating houses who wish to take part in Halloween and much to the joy of many children (and adults :P ) it has been growing into a fun community event.
