Apollo Bay Local artist Lyndi Whalen
@lyndilufacepaints has been weaving for over 20 years.
Lyndi likes to use natural materials and dyed raffia to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

Definition: SHAMBLE (Lit. Discworld) aka A type of Witch's Ladder / Cat’s Cradle that is a practice in folklore used for intention setting and charm making. Made from a combination of natural materials and rope netted in with found objects.

Expand on your weaving styles and techniques, no experience is necessary, and all materials are supplied to make a wish for a beautiful and bountiful spring /summer

In this 4-hour afternoon workshop, Lyndi will share techniques passed on to her by master weavers Aunty Browen Razem, Gay Grae, and Joy Beeby and Meg Pascal from Surfcoast Weaver Birds.
