The Project Space presents its monthly art exhibition… This month May brings the solo work of Apollo Bay Local/ International nomad Tiphaine de Fleurette Hunter-Brown with her exhibition “Meditations”.
Tiphaine de Fleurette Hunter-Brown ex-army brat, Belizean Kriol/ Maya Born in Belize C.A. is the creative director of The Project Space, a creative arts facility in Apollo Bay, Creative Director of Floreo Creative Web + Design and co-director of Videokills, a video and performance art-based collaborative network and festival. Her previous life featured both multimedia solo and group exhibitions in Berlin and London consisting of both oil portraiture, text graphics and video installations focusing on the topic of Sex, Love and Desire.

Beach walks with the doggo, feeling the sun on my face the salt in my nose, the sand in my toes, hearing the roaring of the waves over the sounds of guided meditations, and seeing the pattern in rocks morph as I stare too long. It is amazing what comes out in the doodles in the sand.
I am thinking a lot about stories from my childhood, my ancestors I am thinking about whom I want to be in the future and I am thinking about what I am learning now about my power and I am grateful that I am painting in colours again.
