Becoming a MOTHER opened my heart in a galactic expansion of LOVE. I have soared on the highest of highs since becoming a MOTHER. It also split me apart, tore at my heart and my ideals of reality. MOTHERING has opened my mind, body and my third eye. I have gone deeper, and deeper still.. to the willowing and wonderful depths of fear, compassion and love. These artworks encompass what mothering means to me, and what mothering means to the world: from The Glorious Goddess Kali, to my very own Mother and the long line of Mothers that came before her; to Mother Nature, and all that is between.

Artist Bio
When I look around me in my home, or my community, I am surrounded by just so much natural beauty. Landscapes speak to me and the beauty of them is what I define as LOVE. LOVING is noticing, valuing and appreciating the beauty of someone or something. It speaks to The Mother and our DIVINE FEMININE to love, to be awestruck by beauty, to be watchful and curious. And I want to share through my artworks that snippet of LOVE, BEAUTY and the DIVINE FEMININE and MOTHER within each and every one of us.
I use my art in my own healing journey to process the full power of emotions and somatically transfer it back to the divine Mother Earth. It is my humble and great honour for others to connect to my art, and feel the healing power.
MOTHER means MATTER: mothers and mothering MATTERS. I want to ELEVATE mothers and mothering for the respect, compassion, understanding, honouring and cherishing it DESERVES. MATTER IS all things and it is the connection to the divine that brings us all together.
Mother also means MEASURE. The measure of our first relationship, the MOTHER who brought you into life, stays with u through your life. Society Measures mothers. And it is crucial for society and us all to respect, validate, recognise, honour and cherish MOTHERS and MOTHERING.

local creative women of the GOR + Otways of all ages and cultural backgrounds to exhibit at the project space with a monthly placement residency. Wonderfully creative women for all sorts of reasons may find that their lives get put on hold or displaced and their creative practice is quite often the first thing that gets put on the back burner. 2023 is the year to reemerge with help and love. You can re-emerge and grow at any age and in any place. This is a safe nurturing space for experimentation and community. Welcome.
